Calculations follow published specs
Our calculators use the specs printers publish in their official help pages and guides, with each source and the date we checked it listed on the tool. Real books can still differ slightly: paper stock varies, printers round measurements in their own ways, and specs change.
Always confirm with your printer
Before you upload files or publish, check your printer's current requirements and use their own templates or previewers where they offer them. Order a printed proof. We are not responsible for rejected files, print costs or reprints.
Estimates are estimates
Some tools estimate things no one can know exactly, such as page counts from a word count or future earnings. These results are clearly labeled as estimates, and where a tool uses a rate, you can change it to match your own numbers.
